"A cult has formed, the Temple of Baa, with a taste for fear and uncertainty...and a hunger for the end of the world. Their terrible desire has set them to sowing seeds of disaster across the land"
Klavis Verge

The Temple of Baa, sometimes known as the Church, Cult, or Order of Baa, is a cult that appears in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven and Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. It was set up by Xenofex and the kreegans to convince the people of the Kingdom of Enroth that King Roland had lost the Mandate of Heaven, and was thus unsuited to rule the nation. Removing Roland and his regent would make Enroth an easier prey for the kreegans.

The cult set up several temples across the continent. They fed the hungry, and never charged money when they healed people, so they were popular among the poorer members of society. At the same time, they secretly placed curses on their surroundings, causing things to go wrong and sparking off mounting discontent with the establishment. Gradually, they attempted to engineer a popular uprising.

After the kreegans were defeated on the continent of Enroth, the Temple of Baa lost its power. A few of them managed to reach Antagarich, were they tried to continue the cult's work. They were later defeated by the Lords of Harmondale.
