Slash is a knight that appears in the Grave Robber scenario in the Hack and Slash campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death. He is an old friend of Crag Hack, and helps him recover the Shield of the Yawning Dead from Charnath.
Biography[]
Slash was an old drinking buddy of Crag Hack back in Enroth. He came to Erathia to hide from constables who wanted to question him about some peasants with whom he had a falling out. Once in Erathia he was promptly arrested for cheating at cards.OffBck
Crag Hack was searching for the death knight Charnath, when he came across a prison being attacked by vampires. They had already slain the guards, and were now eyeing the prisoner. After dealing with the vampires, he freed the prisoner, discovering that it was his old drinking buddy Slash.
Slash then aided Crag Hack in his quest to slay Charnath and retrieve the Shield of the Yawning Dead.
Gameplay[]
Slash is an 11th-level knight. He starts with Archery and Leadership, and the rest of his skills are randomly assigned.

He is located in a prison east of Crag Hack's starting town. He starts with an army of 50 halberdiers, 40 marksmen, 13 crusaders, and 3 cavaliers, and is equipped with the Buckler of the Gnoll King and the Ogre's Club of Havoc.
