The Shadowbrand clan is one of the three major clans of the dark elves, the other two being the Soulscar clan and the Nightshard clan.
It served as Raelag's clan in Heroes of Might and Magic V.
The Shadowbrand clan consists of several smaller clans that Raelag combined after defeating them in The Clanlord, the first scenario of The Warlock. The Soulscar clan is the only clan that remains separate from Raelag's forces.
Raelag ruled the clan until he left with Queen Isabel to fight against Biara's demonic forces.
