The necromancer is a monster in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. It is stronger than the dark path journeyman, but weaker than the master necromancer.
Necromancers can be encountered in the Necromancers' Guild and the Mad Necromancer's Lab. They have a ranged attack that does 12D4 dark damage and can cause the afraid status, and have a 20% chance to use the lightning bolt spell. They are highly resistant to dark damage.
If the player sides with Sandro, the necromancers are friendly; if allied with Oskar Tyre, they are hostile.
