Orc symbol for Mother Earth
Mother Earth is one of the two spirits that the orcs of Ashan pay homage to, the other being Father Sky. These two spirits are powerful beings that the shamans of the orcs meet when they travel into the "Dream World".
Mother Earth is a protector and healer, and represents stoicism, contemplation, peace, and community. The shamans of Mother Earth, known as the earth daughters, perform healing rites and lead sacrifices. They preserve the orc traditions through storytelling and songs, and are more concerned with the future of the tribe than the glory of its individuals.
Some sages speculate that Mother Earth is actually Sylanna, the Dragon Goddess of Earth.
