Mire is a second-level Death Magic spell in Heroes of Might and Magic IV that costs three spell points and causes the target army to move at half speed on the Adventure Map during its next turn.


The most obvious use is to keep smaller armies from escaping, and larger armies from catching you. It can also be used to harry an opposing army, and to catch up with scouts.
