The Minotaur is one of the eight hero classes in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer.

"The race of Minotaurs has descended from creatures created as magically attuned guardians. Like the Troll, the Minotaur is a powerful melee combatant, but without the Troll's extraordinary stamina. Though the Minotaur cannot match the Troll's endurance, he can certainly make up for that lack with strength, cunning, and a limited ability to use magic (Body, Spirit, and Mind). Though all weapons are available to them, Minotaurs specialize in using spears, blunt weapons, and, of course, axes. Also, they can use any armor but helmets and shields."

Minotaurs start with 30 hit points and 5 spell points, and gain 4 hit points and 1 spell point per level. They also start with 5 spirit, mind, and body resistance.

For intellect, it costs two points to increase the stat one point. For might, it costs one point to increase the stat two points.

Minotaur Lord Edit

"Only those Minotaurs who have exhibited extreme valor are promoted to the rank of Minotaur Lord. At this level, Minotaurs can gain grand mastery in the axe and perception skills."

A Minotaur can be promoted to a Minotaur Lord. Minotaur Lords can learn grandmaster Axe and Perception instead of master, and expert Spirit, Mind, and Body Magic instead of normal.

Minotaur Lords gain 6 hit points and 2 spell points per level.
