Maximus was a non-human knight who served Morglin Ironfist when he won the war against Queen Lawanda, Lord Slayer and Lord Alamar in 500 days. He was likely the hero who conquered Alamar's citadel as the leader of siege army. Eventually was promoted to a paladin rank (rather a title to made him more honorable than real function), regardless of the fact that he is a goblin.
