The Mask of the False Face is an ancient relic of the Faceless that can allow anyone who wears it appear as another regardless of their species, similar to the natural ability of the Faceless.
History[]
Nobody knows the full history of the Faceless relic other than its appearance of one of the masks worn by the Faceless themselves. It is said that the mask was once in the possession of a faithful Human Shantiri Priest of Malassa but hid the relic in a separate dimension when during the Elder Wars, the angels attempted to forcibly convert him to Elrath, sacrificing himself in the process. The only way to access the dimension and gain the relic was to find his ring and power it to gain entrance. The Priest's mind now guards the dimension and relic from any intruder.
Centuries later after being hidden, the relic was found by the Nethermancer Sandro, who desired the fabled artifact to aid him in his nefarious plans. He soon gained the relic and used its appearance changing powers to assume the form of Raelag to enter the Invisible Library unimpeded.
