Psychic Elementals are the physical evidence of what many consider the fifth element: thought. These creatures are immune to Mind spells. Their attacks overpower the minds of all those surrounding them, causing enough pain to kill. Enemies enduring such an attack rarely are capable of a retaliatory strike. Magic Elementals are a product of the sixth element: magic. Magic Elementals are also immune to all forms of magic.
The magic elemental is the upgrade of the psychic elemental, the sixth-level creature of the Conflux in Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade. It can be recruited at the upgraded altar of Thought.
With an improvement to damage, hit points, and speed, the magic elemental is even more dangerous than the psychic elemental. The best tactic is still to seek out groups of enemies and damage them all.
The magic elemental is immune to all magic, which can be both a blessing and a curse, since there's no way to boost it.
- Attacks all adjacent enemies: The magic elemental's attack damages all nearby enemies.
- No enemy retaliation: The magic elemental can attack without fear of retaliation.
- Spell immunity: The magic elemental is immune to all spells.
