In Heroes III, the Lucid Pools are a type of magical terrain.

On Lucid Pools, ALL the Water spells are cast on expert level. This includes both Adventure and combat spells, and spells imbued by both heroes and creatures.

This special terrain was added by the Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death expansion.
