The Lich is an advanced class in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It requires specialization in Chaos Magic and Death Magic.
Due to having already one of these skills, Necromancers and Sorcerers are likely candidates for this class.
Effect[]
Liches can temporarily age enemies by attacking them in melee. Aged enemies have their attack reduced by 25%, their defense reduced by 20%, and their speed and movement reduced by 50%.

The Lich has the following priorities to learn secondary skills:
- 4: Death Magic and Chaos Magic, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 4.
- 1: Combat, Magic Resistance, Melee, Pathfinding, Scouting, Seamanship
- Nature Magic, Nobility, Order Magic and Tactics, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 1.
- 0: Archery, Stealth
