"Who is their leader?
One of those red priests. His name's Hangvul.
Hangvul? I will bring him in alive. Or, at least, not yet entirely dead.

Agbeth and Rangathal

Hate Breeds Hate is a scenario in Tribes of the East.

Walkthrough[]

Hangvul remembers why he became so grumps and intolerant of dark elves. He was desecrating their altars and this made a dark elf named Agbeth wanting revenge. Agbeth swore to defeat the dwarves for this act.

Agbeth needs to defeat all their towns and their leaders. In addition, Agbeth should capture the warrens and one of their military outposts. First is first - consulting with the Seer is necessary. The Seer can be found north-west of the town. The Seer believes dealing with demons could speed up the process of invading the dwarves. The demon, Alastor, can be found in the underground - he can be reached via a portal that is found in west. Alastor would make an alliance, but this requires a Tome of Destructive Magic. Completing the deal allows Agbeth to transform any dwarves he has into demons.

Agbeth needs to go across the bridge. East and west of the end of the bridge are the warrens, as well as the military outpost. Continuing north is the garrison filled with a lot of dwarves, ones Agbeth cannot evade easily. In the north-west is Erling and north-east is Hangvul, who needs to be eliminated. After the battles, Agbeth intimidates Hangvul, who is not afraid to die. Agbeth is not interested in his death, but he wants to torment him, starting by removing his left eye and hand. Hangvul spent years in prison and even though he managed to restore his limbs from dwarven steel, he is not yet to give up on fighting "the cave crawlers".

Strategy[]

Agbeth has plenty of time to assemble an army and attack. The only problem is that the sieges consume a lot of time, as the catapult needs several shots to destroy a part of the wall.
