Haste is a recurring spell in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Typically, haste will provide a bonus to either the amount a unit will move, how early the unit will move, or how often the unit will move.
The Haste spell is a spell of the Fire school in Might and Magic VI. It reduces the recovery time for attacking with a weapon or casting certain spells by 25 seconds. However, it leaves targets of the spell weakened once the effect wears off. It costs 5 spell points to cast, and is a spell that requires recovery after casting. The spell lasts for 4 minutes plus 1 minute per point of skill in Fire magic. An Expert rank in Fire Magic reduces the recovery further, and a Master's Haste spell affects the entire party when cast.
Haste is an Expert spell of the Fire magic school in Might and Magic VII. It costs 5 spell points to cast. It reduces the recovery time for the party's actions, lasting for one hour plus one minute per point of skill the caster has in Fire Magic. However, it will weaken the party for six hours after the effect wears off. An Expert rank in Fire Magic increases the duration of the effect to one hour plus three minutes per point of skill in Fire Magic, and a Master rank in Fire Magic increases the duration further to one hour plus four minutes per point of skill in Fire Magic.
Haste is an Expert spell of the Fire magic school in Might and Magic VIII. It affects the entire party, boosting the recovery rate after attacking with a weapon or casting a spell, but will make the party weak for a time after the spell wears off. Higher ranks in Fire magic increase the recovery rate further.
Haste is the spell from Light and Spirit Magic. It reduces recovery time by 15 seconds and lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. Haste costs 15 mana points and is targeted on one player character. When the spell wears off, the target of the spell will be weakened.
Once cast, this spell decreases recovery time of the target, allowing them to cast spells and attack faster than before.
