The Halberd of the Swiftwatch is a minor artifact. It increases a hero's Melee Attack by 25 and speed by 2.
The wielder also gets the same abilities as the Pikeman: "Negate First Strike" and the ability to attack from 2 yards away. Even if the hero attacks from afar, he/she is not protected by Fire Shield.
