10% chance to halve the size of an enemy group.OffBck
The genie is a neutral creature in Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest.
The genie cannot be trained from a creature dwelling, but it can be purchased from the ancient lamp item on the adventure map - if the genies are purchased, the item disappears. The item cannot be moved.
It is not only one of the most powerful units in the game, but every attack has a 10% chance of killing half the creatures in the enemy stack. This does not say it applies if the base attack deals enough damage to destroy more than half the troop. It is recommended to purchase the genies before the opponent can. If facing them, the player should try to either kill them or disable them with spells such as slow, blind, and paralyze.
