The Favorable Winds is a type of magical terrain in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death, that increases the effect of the navigation skill.
It can only be found from water tiles, and unlike other magical terrains, it does not affect combat in any way. Favorable Winds does not affect the movement of heroes without the navigation skill.
- Heroes with basic navigation get 200% movement.
- Heroes with advanced navigation get 250% movement.
- Heroes with expert navigation get 300% movement.
