Description

The Faerie Dragons have a new look in Heroes IV, compared to their bug-eyed neutral buddies from Heroes III. They can be purchased from Magic Forest in the Preserve town.

The Faerie Dragon is a fourth level Spellcaster in Heroes IV. The Faerie Dragon knows the following spells: Fire Ring, Confusion, Fire Ball, and Lightning Strike.

Being a spellcaster, the Faerie Dragon poor attack, but they make up for it with Magic Mirror-skill and just a bit better defense than the other Level 4 candidate, the Phoenix. Although, an extra drop of defense doesn't make up for the apparent lack of health, speed, movement, and attack that its rival does. But the range and extra spell points can be effective if backed up by a good walker or two.
