In Heroes III, the Evil Fog is a type of magical terrain.
The Evil Fog grants a +1 Morale bonus to all the Evil-aligned creatures. while reducing by -1 the Morale of Good-aligned troops. Battles fought on Evil Fog are one of the few occasions when the alignment has gampelay influences.
This special terrain was added by the Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death expansion.
