The dwarf is the second tier unit of the Sorceress faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II, recruited by building a cottage. They can also be recruited from the dwarf cottage on the adventure map.
While dwarves have good damage and defense, they are extremely slow. Because of this, dwarves are better used to defend than to attack, helped by their magic resistance to help them avoid the dangerous spells of enemy heroes.
It can be upgraded to the battle dwarf.
