Since the judge disappeared, Hajar thinks it would be best if the hero went to the Great Library and find the judge's diary. The hero has to go to the library entrances, where the assistant would show them certain books. Just south-southwest of Hajar, the assistant finds Shameer's book titled "The Cycle of Death. A Mystery unveiled". Amidst the pages is a diary, which the hero needs to bring to Hajar. Hajar is thankful the diary has been retrieved. However, he admits he is not Hajar, but a member of the Black Fang.
