The Archer is the basic might class for the Preserve. It starts with Basic Combat and Basic Archery. An archer can later become a Beastmaster, but the Ranger and General advanced classes are generally better choices.
The Archer is most likely to learn Combat and fairly likely to learn the Scouting and Nature Magic skills. Archers cannot learn Order Magic or Death Magic when leveling up unless some basic training in those skills is already known.
