Agrael

Agrael's Decision is the fifth and final scenario in The Cultist campaign.

Walkthrough[]

Agrael's quest is nearing its end, all that remains is to find Tieru somewhere in the magical fog of the Dragonmist Islands.OffBck

Agrael has got the ship, but a strange fog hampers his sight. It cannot be percepted for some reason, so Agrael has not much choice. The Hut of the Magi can percept the magical fog, as well as the obervatories posted on the islands. Agrael has to use the underground tunnels as well to advance. Many enemies will face his path, although some demons will join him.

Tieru resides on the central island. He is guarded by dozen of emerald dragons, so Agrael will have a hard time facing such creatures. After he defeats them, Agrael speaks to Tieru, who says that Kha-Beleth will force the Demon Messiah, half-human half-demon, come to Ashan. Tieru wonders why Agrael fought Nicolai if he disobeyed Kha-Beleth, so Agrael says that it was all for Isabel. He met her when Kha-Beleth sent him to watch her, but he did not give Agrael any details. Tieru teleports them to a site where Agrael will be purged of demonic spells. The Rite of True Nature commences, but Biara comes to steal the Heart of the Griffin. Agrael uses the Heart, killing her. Tieru corrects him that the succubus was banished to Sheogh - the heart creates a portal to Sheogh. So, the troops Nicolai banished using the heart are still in Sheogh.

  • Agrael meets Tieru.
  • Agrael goes through Rite of True Nature.
  • Agrael learns the Heart of the Griffin's true power.

Agrael can't discover map by ship.

Strategy[]

Agrael starts with few troops, so the tactic is to lose less troops as possible. Some troops Agrael encounters will join him. They can be upgraded in hill forts - one is in south-west and the other in north-east.

Also, the usage of observatories and huts of the Magi is a must, otherwise Agrael will not be able to continue. Having the scouting perk helps greatly. Additionaly, if Agrael comes to the south-eastern island, he might be able to pay a large sum to the cartographer to reveal the ocean. Nevertheless, the fog resides on islands.
